It's a Celebration!

MakeoverPDX is a charitable cosmetic program designed to inspire and give confidence to individuals in need. We have chosen to partner with Dress for Success for our first ever makeover event. With help from Dress for Success, three women have been selected to receive professional aesthetic, dental and salon services. Our hope is to educate, encourage and guide these women in their efforts to make positive life changes.

Please join us on September 19th for a fun filled evening of inspirational stories, live entertainment, food and cocktails as we celebrate each woman's makeover journey. Blackbird Farms, located 4.3 miles west of Hwy 217 on Scholls Ferry Road, is a sprawling 33 acre farm with beautiful orchards, incredible valley views and manicured lawns. There will be plenty of parking and fun for everyone!

How You Can Help!

We encourage you to begin collecting new or gently used professional women's clothing, handbags, shoes and accessories to support the Dress For Success mission of providing resources and support to help low-income women successfully enter the workforce. Clothes should be clean with no spots or stains, current in style, and in excellent condition. Their services are a life-line to the many low-income women in the Portland metro area (85% are single mothers) who are struggling to get a job to support themselves and their families.
